Tiny Knots Hat

Note: This object is made using waste straight from a factory. Every piece will have imperfections and every piece is a one-off. Please treat it like a novelty/display object.

When one warp beam has finished weaving and they want to continue making the same fabric, they used what's called a tying machine. This machine make tiny knots, over 4000 times across the fabric, tying each strand of yarn so the production can continue without having to take off the warp beams and start over.

This resulted in a gap in the fabric. There's no weft yarn, just the warp yarn and tiny little knots.

We used that gap and the tiny knots to make this object. Play around with it, it's reversible, too!
