The reference for this cap comes from this old cartoon that I saved (with no credit/sources🤦♂️) about how Kant’s Categories of Understanding works in his pool game (against Hume, no less)
Basically, there was a split in philosophy for hundreds of years. Some of the smartest people in history (like it’s disgusting how smart they all are) can’t seem to agree about where true knowledge comes from; were we born with it, or does it only come from our senses?
Kant solved it by saying, it’s both 🤷♂️ To understand any sense data, we need a ‘framework’ that every humans are born with.
That framework is embroidered on the cap.
