While The Old Man shirt has a blatant reference to the book, this one is a bit more subtle.

The fabric for this shirt is also custom printed because no one is unhinged enough to print this in huge quantities.

While it's not obvious, The Sea is almost another character in the book, it's not just a setting for a story, it's a living entity that provides and challenges The Old Man at the same time.

The upper part of the shirt looks calm and as you get lower, it gets darker, and trippier. Who knows what's there. Maybe if you unfocus your eyes a bit you can see a huge Marlin?
